A welcoming, family-run business. Nothing too much trouble. Room plain but comfortable, dinner home-cooked and enjoyable. Ideal for our purposes. Next day we took, from here, the Mareneva highway - one of the most scenic anywhere i Sicily.

The service was impeccable. The staff , including the owners, were always available and very attentive. What impressed us most was the attention to detail, everything was impeccable. The room was large and had a balcony. The breakfast was buffet style with a very nice variety and fresh cappuccino. I would recommend the dinner the ingredients were local and very fresh. The location enabled us to go to visit vineyards and Mt. Etna during the day and have dinner by the sea in the evening. My daughters and I loved it and will recommend it to all our friends. John Arrigo, Belmont, MA, USA

Good position for exploring Mt Etna region. Staff friendly, very helpful in providing information on activities in the area and how best to access towns like Taormina, for instance. Availability of a restaurant, with very good in house meals.

The village of linguaglossa has little to offer however it is well situated if you want to visit Etna north, Taormina, Aci Reale and you wish to stay outside the cities. The building is new and nicely decorated and parking is easy. The personnel is very nice. And the food, breakfast and dinner is good. We stay there 2 nights. Early in May, there is too much snow to go on top of the etna, however the drive in the park to refiugio sapienza is nice. The second day , we drove to Etna south through the park and Zafferana Etnea (a nice village) and return via Aci Castello, Aci Reale ,a full day. Etna north is a nice region, it is green and the view on the Etna is very pretty.

This was a beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet part of town, well signposted along the way. Angela on reception was a mind of information on the local area and guided us to our starting point for the day trip to Mount Etna. The room was very clean and stylish and very quiet. This hotel is a great base from which to explore Etna from the north side and we had a wonderful day on the volcano. We decided to eat dinner in a local restaurant and the food was marvellous. The breakfast in the hotel was plentiful with hams, cheeses, juices and pastries. Would recommend it highly for convenience, hospitality and location.
The pillows were a little hard and Wi-Fi was only availablein the lobby. However it was free !

This small hotel looks ordinary from the outside but is chic and stylish on the inside. The decor is modern, muted tones and tasteful. Attention to detai and very friendly reception. The room was new, comfortable and very clean.
As we were travelling in low season, we were, I think, the only guests at the hotel. The website showed spectacular views of Mt. Etna from the rooms. However we were given a room overlooking the side street. When I queried this the next morning, I was told we had not booked the view room at 10 Euros extra. However we were not offered this option at the time of booking. As we tend to travel a lot during low season we find that it is unusual not to be given a preferential room when a hotel is empty. The only reason we had for going there was to see Mt. Etna and we chose this hotel because of the spectacular views they offered.

This hotel was in a great location for our visit to Mount Etna. The staff are lovely, very willing to please and professional. The hotel is compact but modern and very clean and we had a clear view of Mt Etna from our room, just wonderful. The restaurant offered a great dinner and breakfast. Ony stayed one night but would confidently recommend to those on tour to Mt Etna.
